Observe the longest remaining total solar eclipse of this century from the northern foothills of Morocco’s Rif mountains, where dramatic landscapes, clear skies and optimal viewing conditions create an unforgettable front-row experience of this rare celestial event.

We will shortly be releasing full details of four individual tours that culminate in the atmospheric city of Tangier for some engaging talks before witnessing this spectacular event at a fully-catered private site, chosen to maximise your viewing pleasure.

Two of the tours will be a general exploration of Morocco, the third focusing on it's archaeological treasures and the fourth focusing on stargazing. All four tours will visit Marrakech plus a selection of other sites including the Atlas mountains, overnighting in a Berber camp, Fes and Casablanca.

Full details coming soon. Register at tours@newscientist.com to be amongst the first to recieve full details of these experiences.
